Art historian and curator Dr. Amin Jaffer has spent decades shaping some of the world’s most influential cultural projects. A New Way of Remembering Home

For the Venice Biennale’s India Pavilion, Jaffer developed the theme “Geographies of Distance: Remembering Home.” Rather than viewing home as a physical place, he explored it as something carried through memory, relationships, rituals and objects. Rooted in the Indian experience yet universally relatable, the exhibition invited visitors to reflect on identity in a rapidly changing world.
